Opened recently, LVB occupies a small corner location in the Merchants Streets Valletta. Though small, the resutrant has become a trend amongst tourists and locals alike. The property is looking to extend its reach to a new venue with 250 square metre vault with strong wooden floors and spectacular atmospheric lighting. The entrance offers pure delight with the Vittoriosa Yacht Marina vand Grand Harbour views. The location of the restaurant is on Malta’s foremost historic locations. This was the place that Order of St John chose to settle in 1530. Here, Fort St Angelo was the seat of Grand Master. A complimentary boat shuttle service on a vintage Rova Boat can also be availed here.
The fact that LVB offers a menu that is different from other restaurants makes it a special choice for varied food eaters. Three menus are given categorized into Chef’s recommended 7-course menu, a 7-course Vegetarian menu, and a 5-course tasting menu. No matter what you chose, each course is presented in succulent small bites equipped with three sense swaying dishes like oyster parsnip, beetroot variations, duck, seaweed gnocchi, cauliflower & coconut chick-pea Dahl, prawn to quail and classics like foie gras and pork belly dishes. The menu significantly caters to food intolerance, allergies and other special requests.
