If all the restaurants on the island gather up to form a family, Tal-Familja would be an elder statesman. The entertaining venue is the best place to enjoy dinner and culinary acts. The main activities are taken care of by Charles Preca. His passion of creating and preparing amazing dishes is undeniable. Interiors are convivial with Maltese paintings and golden table cloths. The parking area opposite the restaurant assures that your vehicle is parked in an unproblematic and secure place.

The produce here is sourced from local markets including fishermen and suppliers. In starters, chose from freshly shucked oysters, the octopus salad in garlic and olive oil, or the fresh marinated raw langostini. Mains include filleted seabass simmered in wine, garlic, leeks and tomatoes, along with a vast selection of fresh, catch of the day fish and seafood specials to intoxicate your senses.

For those who don’t like fishes, the 275gr grilled New Zealand of beef with garlic butter and herbs and a roasted French rack of veal with herb crust is served with red wine onion sauce.

Amongst desert, one to try the most is the classic sherry trifle or chocolate pudding with hazelnut.
