Tosca Resturant is an amalgamation of classic and modern settings. Their comfy sofas blend perfectly with chocolate brown tables and same colored wood and brick walls. The low white ceilings provide comfy ambiance with parquet and tile flooring. Warm lighting, soothing background music, and a purposefully built open kitchen add to the style of the place. Needless to say, the place is best for families, friends, groups, and couples. Situated at the prime location of Mellieħa village, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

The Menu

The menu at Tosca might be focused, but it has something for everyone. Whet your appetite with delicious pan seared local rabbit liver with aromatic herbs, haw berry jam, sun-dried tomatoes served with bread, the prawn bisque with vanilla pod oil or the sauté of prawns and pea shoots.  Sophisticated pasta dishes include roe filled tortelli with thyme butter, jus, matsutake mushrooms, red wine and crunchy Parma ham. Slow cooked pork belly with apple jam is not a sure shot. The crispy duck breast with parsnip mousse and dried fruit in an orange and brown sugar reduction will not disappoint you either.

And there’s more to these specials. The succulent fresh fish of the day like pan-seared brown meager in tomato prawn broth with purple potato gnocchi, baby asparagus, and pea shoots, skinned and filleted at your table and accompanied by a side salad or chunky steamed vegetables and roast potatoes or steak-house fries will keep you busy eating. You can also choose from a creative pizza menu.

After you are satisfied with the mains, don’t forget to try desserts like warm doughnuts with Nutella and pistachios or the local Mqaret flamed in Bajtra Liqueur and accompanied with vanilla cinnamon ice cream.
